3pm Site visits: choice of one to be booked in advance

  • Menai Strait boat trip. Steeped in history with beautiful scenery and wildlife, this trip along the Menai Strait offers the chance to enjoy the landscape from a different perspective.

  • Hydro Ogwen is a cooperative venture that was developed originally by Partneriaeth Ogwen (Ogwen Partnership) and then developed further by Ynni Ogwen Cyf (Ogwen Energy Ltd). The aim is to capture the power from the flow of the Ogwen river to produce Electrical energy from Hydro technology. The profit gained from this venture will fund other environmental and community projects in the Ogwen Valley. Dyffryn Ogwen Community Website – Ynni Ogwen

6pm Evening reception hosted by Cymdeithas Eryri Snowdonia Society and the Caru Eryri project. This provides opportunities to volunteer in the outdoors, making a practical difference in the National Park. It is run jointly by Eryri National Park Authority, The Outdoor Partnership, Snowdonia Society and National Trust.

The Society’s work with Caru Eryri and this reception is supported by Cyngor Gwynedd from UK Government funding through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
