Ffermio Bro 2025/26 Annual Report

Ffermio Bro has seen remarkable success since launching in May 2025, with virtually all available capital funding allocated across the National Parks and Landscapes of Wales.

Farmers across the Designated Landscapes have submitted hundreds of applications for Ffermio Bro projects, with demand far exceeding the available budgets. In total, £1.52m was allocated to activities which are now supporting nature and ecosystems across the Designated Landscapes.

In 2025/26 Ffermio Bro funded:

  • 84 projects across 200 farms
  • The creation or restoration of 43.6km of hedgerow and 4.5km of drystone wall
  • The planting of 83,362 trees
  • The creation or restoration of 94km of woodland
  • Works to protect and improve 21km of waterway
  • The creation of 47 ponds

Full details of our work in 2025/26 is set out in the Annual Report – click here.
