It’s #WalesOutdoorLearningWeek 2026!
From 16–22 March 2026, Wales Outdoor Learning Week shines a spotlight on the many benefits of learning in, about, and for our natural environment.
This year’s theme, “High Quality Outdoor Learning for All,” highlights the importance of ensuring that every learner, regardless of background or setting — has access to meaningful and enriching outdoor experiences. The week is also an opportunity to celebrate the fantastic work already taking place across Wales to embed outdoor learning into schools and lifelong learning.
Outdoor learning takes many forms. It can include adventure activities that build confidence and resilience, practising maths in the school yard, local biodiversity projects, or creative work inspired by Wales’ landscapes. Together, these experiences contribute to high quality, engaging and relevant learning for all.

Tirlun Webinar – Inspiring Learning Through Welsh Landscapes
If you are a teacher, practitioner, student teacher or outdoor learning partner, Tirlun — a national outdoor learning portal that uses Wales’ landscapes to inspire learning across the Curriculum — is hosting a 60-minute webinar.
