We are excited to announce that our Welsh Designated Landscapes will be home to the 20th EUROPARC International Ranger Camp in 2024.
Working in partnership as Tirweddau Cymru, the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Landscape will host ten international teams in July this year on the theme of Landscapes for the future.
The EUROPARC Junior Ranger programme is a non-formal education programme for children and teenagers around the ages of 12 – 18 who a who are living within or close to Protected Areas. The programme can be led by park rangers, educational specialists or park volunteers, depending on the local context.
The CRDV National Landscape team will be welcoming 10 international teams, each with one Junior Ranger Mentor and three Junior Rangers aged 14 – 17 years old, and sharing the wonderful Welsh landscape, culture and history with them!
